ALTHOM is looking for an experienced Senior ILS Manager to join our engineering team and support international Defence and Aerospace projects. The role combines technical responsibility with project coordination and customer interaction.

01 · The role

Support that is designed, not improvised.

We are looking for a senior professional with broad ILS / Integrated Product Support knowledge and solid hands-on experience in core ILS activities. You lead and coordinate ILS throughout the product lifecycle, and you are the technical interface towards customers and engineering teams.

02 · Key responsibilities

What you would own.

  • ILS

    ILS leadershipStrategy · Plans · Deliverables

    • Lead and coordinate ILS activities throughout the product lifecycle
    • Develop ILS strategies, plans, requirements and technical deliverables
    • Prepare ILS approaches, estimates and work packages for proposals and tenders
    • Act as a technical interface towards customers and engineering teams

  • LSA

    AnalysisLSA · RAMS · FMECA

    • Perform and review LSA / Product Support Analysis
    • RAM / RAMT / RAMS analysis
    • FMEA / FMECA
    • Maintainability and related supportability analyses
    • Use in-service and reliability data to improve the support solution

  • MNT

    Maintenance conceptMTA · PMA · MSI · RCM · LORA

    • Lead or contribute to MTA, PMA, MSI, RCM and LORA activities
    • Define maintenance concepts
    • Provide Supportability Engineering / Design Influence input during product development

  • SUP

    Support solutionSpares · Equipment · LCC

    • Define support requirements for spares, provisioning, support equipment, manpower and facilities
    • Support LCC assessments and obsolescence management

03 · Requirements

What the work asks for.

  • EXP

    ExperienceILS · IPS · LSA · Supportability

    • Several years of professional experience in ILS, IPS, LSA or Supportability Engineering, preferably in Defence or Aerospace
    • Proven hands-on experience in core ILS activities, particularly LSA, LORA, MTA, RAM / RAMT, FMECA and maintenance analysis
    • Experience with obsolescence management and life-cycle support

  • STD

    StandardsASD S-Series

    • Good knowledge of the ASD S-Series specifications, particularly S3000L and / or S4000P

  • SKL

    SkillsAnalysis · Language · Qualification

    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and take technical ownership
    • Very good English skills; German is an advantage
    • Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred
